Greedy

Besides staying in a great hotel, there is plenty more to see in Copenhagen. So I decided to make a second post about the city of Vikings. We got lucky with a sunny day and spend the entire day outdoors. Well, almost the entire day. We came across some nice vintage stores and we went in all of them! I scored a very nice serving dish by Danish designer Bjørn Wiinblad. Yeah!
But my hunger for vintage design was unstoppable so on Sunday we took the bus to Den Blå Hal (The Blue Hall) and with some patience and perseverance I scored again: ceramics by mister Wiinblad. For a very nice price I might add. Ha!
The clue to all this: even in wintry Copenhagen when you’re freezing your socks off, there is plenty to do (smirking face). Oh, and you simply have to visit department store Illums Bolighus. Design Paradise in the city centre. The building itself is worthwhile visiting.
